At Somerset Larder, we believe in creating a sustainable future by combining local expertise, ethical practices, and innovative solutions.

Togetherness: We prioritise fostering strong relationships with local farmers, producers, and businesses, ensuring that we nourish not only our clients but also the communities we serve.
Planet: By sourcing locally and ethically, we minimise our environmental footprint while supporting a thriving local economy. We are built on the green pastures of the Somerset countryside, and it’s our responsibility to nourish them, as they nourish us.

Nurture: Our commitment to excellence drives us to educate, innovate and grow our teams and leave a legacy that allows future generations to better themselves, nourishing their own communities for decades to come.

Pride: From field to fork, we operate with care, ensuring that every step of our process reflects our dedication to our vision. We can, and we will be the best at what we do.

Who We Are

Somerset Larder was established in 2014 to bring together the finest regional food and drink producers – to act as one – in order to compete for large catering contracts. Our vision is for the Somerset Larder brand to not just be known in the west country, but also way beyond that. Promoting the best produce from this bountiful corner of the UK to the rest of the world, creating a business which will benefit the region’s food and drink sector far into the future. With our help small suppliers get a bigger bite of the pie, and the chance to be part of a bid for larger contracts usually only open to large producers.

As we’ve grown, our suppliers and producers have grown alongside us. So much so, we now operate warehousing and logistics centrally, to ensure all of their delights get to those that love them! We’ve streamlined and synergised catering for 24,000,000 transactions a year into a straightforward process… When we say field to fork, we really mean it!
