Last Friday was the annual Somerset Business Awards, usually an evening awards ceremony, but understandably due to the current restrictions, a Zoom call event!  We are very pleased and proud to announce that we were winners of the “Investing In Somerset” Award this year.

The Investing in Somerset Award recognises companies which are passionate about supporting Somerset’s economy through local activity, demonstrated by their use of local employment, training, trading or regional supply chain.

Managing Director Steve Braithwaite said: “We’re pleased to support the local supply chain and very proud of the whole team. It was a great team effort and a fine testament and accolade for our staff, who demonstrate our values as a business – day in, day out. It is a major achievement for our us and we are very proud.  Let’s keep on nourishing the community!”

A record number of businesses entered the awards and around 1,000 people logged in to watch the ceremony live online.

The 2021 finalists came from all corners of the county.  This was the 16th awards and it was the 11th time south west based chartered accountants, tax consultants and financial planners Albert Goodman were the main sponsor of the event.
